Jennifer Lopez Follows Several Rules To Look Good In Her 50s And Have A Healthier Lifestyle

Jennifer Lopez, 52, has one of Hollywood’s most well-kept and attractive figures. She adheres to a set of principles in order to live a healthier lifestyle that contributes to her lovely skin and fit body. According to Diply, she is recognized for never retouching her photos and revealing her true self to her millions of fans across the world.

One of her most stringent requirements is that she does not drink coffee. “I haven’t had caffeine in years,” she told Hollywood Life. Alcohol is the next thing she avoids, despite attending Hollywood gatherings. She also drinks a lot of water, which helps to hydrate her body and wash out pollutants. She said, “Hydrate. Drinking enough of water before and throughout a workout might help you push yourself harder and get more out of your activity.”

She also avoids smoking in order to maintain her youthful appearance. “What you eat affects not only your health; it may also effect the way your skin appears,” she said. Lopez is notorious for never missing a workout, despite her hectic schedule. According to US Magazine, “‘Ugh, I can’t do this,’ I think to myself after working too late the night before. ‘Just do it,’ I urge myself. It will only take one hour.’ It’s only a matter of persuading yourself out of becoming a slacker.” She doesn’t go to the gym every day, but she does go three to four times a week.

Lopez also works with personal trainers to keep her physique toned and healthy. She remarked, “When I’m in New York, I go to David Kirsch, who is an incredible trainer. When I’m in Los Angeles, I collaborate with Tracy Anderson. They both provide me with a nice balance. They have two completely distinct strategies. I enjoy experimenting with my body.” She also stresses the need of getting eight hours of sleep each night.

“I make it a priority to get eight hours of sleep every night,” she told Hello magazine. The musician also tries to avoid giving in to junk food desires. When she has a hankering for something, she always chooses protein. She explained, “When I’m craving anything, I reach for protein. It makes me feel fuller for longer. It’s an excellent source of muscle fuel.” She has a rule about not eating processed foods. Her diet is well-balanced and nutrient-dense, using organic ingredients.

Even when eating out at restaurants, she maintains a healthy diet. “I’m a really social person who enjoys spending time with friends and family, so I try to eat healthy when we go out to eat. Most restaurants have nutritious, low-calorie meals, so I keep an eye out for items on the menu that match my needs “she added. She makes careful to eat healthy snacks even while she’s snacking.

Lopez swears by sunscreen to keep her skin safe from harm. She added, “I don’t spend much time in the sun, but when I do, I use a lot of sunscreen. My skin has remained healthy since I’ve never been one to overexpose myself to the sun.” She regularly wipes her face after every workout to keep her pores clear and her skin looking young.
