Jennifer Lawrence And Cooke Maroney Reportedly Welcome Their First Child

The family of Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney has grown to three members. Lawrence’s representative told People in September 2021 that the “Silver Linings Playbook” actress and her husband were expecting their first child roughly two years after they married.

The actress has been increasingly guarded about her personal life over the years, although she did speak openly about becoming a mother to Vanity Fair in November 2021, explaining why she didn’t disclose the news herself.

She admitted to The Daily Beast (via HuffPost) in November 2012 that she felt “the reason [she] was created on this Earth is to be a mother,” as she was “always playing house” as a child, and that she believed “the reason [she] was put on this Earth is to be a mother.” She said, “That’s so strange for a 22-year-old to say it.”

And it appears that this goal was achieved in February 2022…

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are said to have welcomed their first child into the world after Lawrence gave birth in Los Angeles — though we don’t know when. The pair has not yet verified the baby’s precise birthdate, name, or sex, which was discovered through public documents and revealed by TMZ on February 23.

We’re sure the couple is overjoyed with their new addition, however Lawrence did reveal that, despite being bitten by the parenting bug from a young age, her desire to become a mother began to wane in the years leading up to her birth.

She said to E! News in 2017 that she wasn’t exactly feeling the notion of being a mother anytime soon, saying that her wants to create a family were waning “As I grow older, I’m finding that I’m getting less and less, which is starting to bother me. That’s not how it’s meant to function, in my opinion!” “When I was 21 or 22 years old, I was like, ‘I can’t wait to be a mother,'” she began, but added, “Now I’m like…” as she made a scared look.

Well, it appears that time has altered J-opinion Law’s again! Best wishes to the new parents.
