Simon & Howie Stand In Amazement When Deaf Singer Gives Performance Of The Year

Mandy Harvey lost her hearing ten years ago owing to a connective tissue condition. “Basically, I became ill and my nerves began to weaken,” she explained.

Mandy was 18 years old at the time, and singing was her greatest love. Not only was she utterly deaf, but she was also distraught. “After I lost my hearing, I stopped playing music,” she explained. Mandy, on the other hand, did not remain down indefinitely. “Then I figured out how to use visual tuners and trust my pitch to go back into singing with muscle memory.”

Mandy, at 29, has defied all obstacles to become a singer/songwriter!

Mandy reveals in the video below that she isn’t simply “good for being deaf,” but also has a very strong voice and incredible compositional abilities. In one of the most remarkable America’s Got Talent auditions ever, she demonstrated these abilities to the globe.

Mandy auditioned with her own song “Try,” which wowed the judges, audience, and the rest of the globe.

“I mean, I’ve been doing this for a long time,” Simon commented after her performance. “It was one of the most incredible things I’ve ever saw or heard.”
