Ashton Kutcher Reveals Autoimmune Disorder Left Him Unable To See, Hear, Walk

Ashton Kutcher disclosed that an autoimmune condition had rendered him unable to see, hear, or walk.

In a “Access Hollywood” sneak look of “Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge,” Kutcher, 44, stated, “I got this crazy, incredibly rare kind of vasculitis that, like, knocked out my vision, it knocked out my hearing, it knocked out, like, all my equilibrium.”

On a forthcoming television program, Ashton Kutcher disclosed that he had developed vasculitis two years prior, which rendered him unable to see, hear, or walk.

The former star of “That ’70s Show” claimed that it took him roughly a year to regain his senses.

According to the Mayo Clinic, vasculitis is a fairly uncommon autoimmune illness that can lead to blood vessel inflammation and reduced blood flow. Vasculitis comes in a variety of forms, but the majority affect at least one organ.

Kutcher said, “You don’t truly appreciate it until it’s gone. Until you declare, “I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to see again, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to hear again, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to walk again.

He continued, “[I’m] lucky to be alive.”

The “No Strings Attached” actor claimed that despite his terrible health scare, he has fully healed and that he doesn’t allow anything stand in his way of achievement.

Life begins to get exciting, according to Kutcher, who has two kids with wife Mila Kunis, “the minute you start seeing your problems as things that are intended for you, to give you what you need.” “You stop living under your troubles and start surfing on top of them.”
