Excited Toddler Ring Bearer Runs Down The Aisle To Greet His Mother

One of the most unforgettable moments of any wedding is the bride going down the aisle. It is the groom’s first time seeing his bride that day, and he eagerly anticipates her arrival at the altar. As the bride glides down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband, all eyes in the room are on her. When Kristie Mihelich’s 2-year-old son, Pierson, raced down the aisle to meet her, this wonderful moment became a thousand times more meaningful.

On April 22, Kristie Mihelich married her then-fiance Bobby Mihelich in front of their friends and family at the Planterra Conservatory in West Bloomfield, Michigan. The couple met as business associates, but rapidly fell in love, according to Yahoo. The pair had planned to marry sooner, but the coronavirus pandemic forced them to postpone their wedding. When the ceremony began, Kristie’s soon-to-be husband and their 2-year-old son, Pierson, who served as the ring bearer, stood at the altar. When his mother appeared at the far end of the aisle, the child was overcome with delight. Pierson shouted to his mother and went down the aisle to hug her as his father shed a few tears.

Several people at the gathering captured the touching moment on tape, and it instantly went viral. Samantha Mihelich, the couple’s niece, captured the occasion on camera and shared it on TikTik. The video has been seen over 1.4 million times. Kristie also shared the joyous occasion on Instagram, where she was showered with love and support.

“We were always planning on having Pierson as the ring bearer because he is such an outspoken, gregarious, just natural little entertainer,” Kristie told Good Morning America. “It wasn’t going so well the night before at the rehearsal dinner. He merely desired to run about the place and act like a two-year-old.”

Pierson may not have been the ideal ring bearer at first, but the vivacious toddler stole the show on the wedding day. Kristie Mihelich, a newlywed, recounted her son’s unexpected reaction to the outlet.

“They both saw me down the aisle and their mouths dropped, and he said, ‘Huh?’ as if to say, ‘Hi mom!’ and shook both of his hands energetically, and then he just runs for me,” Mihelich recalled.

She described it as “the loveliest thing.” “I expected him to just stay there and wait for me, but he was sprinting to his mother.”

Kristie recalled the event in an interview with Today, saying that she “could have gone home right then and been so satisfied with my wedding.” Pierson’s shenanigans, however, did not end there. The energetic toddler walked to the dance floor after his parents’ wedding ceremony to get the party started.

Kristie told Good Morning America, “After we had supper, and like I was saying, he’s like a little performance.” “He ate his dinner and then went straight to the dance floor, where he stayed until midnight dancing.”
