9-year-old Girl With Autism Starts College With An IQ Higher Than Albert Einstein And Stephen Hawking

Meet the 9-year-old kid from Mexico City who is making international news. With her brilliance and academic skills, the tiny girl is astounding everyone.

The best thing is that, as a result of her achievement, she is dispelling the stigma surrounding autism and demonstrating to everyone, including herself, that a developmental disability cannot stand in the way of a strong will and intelligence.

Meet Adhara Pérez Sánchez

Adhara Pérez Sánchez appears to be just like any other little child who enjoys playing outside and still watches cartoons.

Ahara, on the other hand, is a very bright little girl who is unlike other children. She has already completed high school and is enrolled in college, where she is pursuing not one, but two degrees: one in industrial engineering and mathematics, and the other in systems engineering.

Ahara, as you can see, has an outstanding IQ score of 162. To put it in context, prominent geniuses like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking have IQs of only 160.

Ahara, on the other hand, didn’t always believe she was intelligent.

Ahara was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, a developmental disease that falls within the autistic spectrum, before anyone recognized her intellect.

Learning and social relationships are known to be challenging for people with autism, and Adahara was no exception. The three major signs of autism are delayed milestones, social awkwardness, and difficulty communicating verbally and nonverbally. Adhara would have a difficult time at school as a result of this.

Bullied In School

Adhara and her parents claim she was “made a laughingstock at school.” Because of her illness, the other kids bullied her ruthlessly, calling her “weirdo” and “oddball.” “I saw Adhara playing in a tiny home and they locked her up,” her mother recounts. And they began chanting, ‘Oddball, weirdo!’ They next turned their attention to the small dwelling.

Her mother couldn’t bear seeing her daughter suffer in this way after seeing it for herself.

Adhara was depressed for a long time.

It’s understandable that the manner the little child was handled finally wore her down. Although no kid should be depressed at such a young age, no one realized how clever she was at the time. Her professors didn’t think she was capable. They informed her parents she was going to sleep in class and that she was not interested. She eventually stopped caring about going to school.

Fortunately, Adhara’s parents could see their kid was bright, and they were often able to observe her extraordinary intellect at home. So they took her out of school and opted to homeschool her while sending her to therapy. This was going to be the turning point in her life.

Adhara’s parents immediately understood that their daughter’s present schooling plan was not a good fit for her. They observed her blossom after they tailored her learning environment to her special abilities.

Adhara completed elementary education at the age of five, middle school at the age of six, and high school at the age of eight. By the age of nine, she was studying systems engineering and mathematics at the Universidad CNCI in Mexico. Her success grew as more people became aware of her brilliance. Not only did the protégé achieve academically, but she also took the time to write a book on her experiences with the encouraging title “Do Not Give Up.”

Milestones That Never End

Adhara’s life was turned upside down when she found her parents believed in her. She was also included to Forbes México’s list of the 100 Most Powerful Women in Mexico.

Adhara presented a talk about black holes at the Institute of Art and Culture (IMAC), where other young children found her inspiring and couldn’t believe she knew as much as, if not more than, adults. Adhara, like all other children, has enormous goals; she’s simply a step ahead of the pack. She wants to study astrophysics and intends to work for NASA as an astronaut and travel to Mars one day.

Adhara’s future seems bright, despite the fact that she has already done more than some people would achieve in a lifetime. But she isn’t finished yet. Adhara is presently studying English in order to accept an invitation to study in Arizona at her chosen university.

Meanwhile, she’s working on a new smart bracelet to assist autistic children. After all, it’s still an important element of the experience. She aims to create a technology that can detect and prevent seizures and other outbursts in differently-abled children’s emotions. This can be life-changing for children with autism who are losing their capacity to communicate.
