Passengers at Chicago Airport Spontaneously Join in Praise Song While Awaiting Their Flight
These strangers, led by pastor Troy Thomas Sr., sang “This Little Light of Mine” and “Amazing Grace.”
Today is not an easy day. It’s tempting to perceive people as “the enemy” during a coronavirus outbreak and a tumultuous election season. However, the fact is that there are still many individuals who recognize that peace, togetherness, compassion, and joy are what we all need and require. What better way to bring strangers together than with a little faith-filled music?
When several travelers at Chicago’s Midway International Airport were waiting for their flight, Troy Thomas Sr., a pastor from Louisiana, took advantage of the situation by leading the gathering in song and prayer. The “band of brothers” sang an upbeat performance of This Little Light of Mine, lead by the passionate pastor, from behind their masks. Videos of the ensemble performing a lovely rendition of Amazing Grace have also been released.
A large number of individuals can be seen singing along, enjoying the festive atmosphere. There is never a time when we can’t allow God into our life and provide people hope and pleasure.
