Stunning Dance Group Performance By Teens With Disabilities Shows There Are No Limits

Born To Perform wowed the judges on Britain’s Got Talent with their dancing group performance to Hairspray’s ‘You Can’t Stop The Beat.’ These disabled teenagers gave it their best, receiving the golden buzzer and demonstrating that there are no limits.

You’re the one who’s crying, not me. But they are tears of incredible joy. Because God intended for each of us to shine brilliantly for him!

Some of us have been fortunate enough to have a family member with a disability. We’ve witnessed firsthand all of the obstacles, setbacks, and successes that come with living with a disability. We’re aware that they appear and speak differently. But being friends with someone who has a disability allows us to view the world through their eyes, which is truly a blessing.

And this dance performance by Born To Perform, a group of teenagers, is incredible.

With their excitement, energy, and grins, Born to Perform lighted up the stage. This energetic dance featured cartwheels, twirls, and jazz hands all over the stage. Their ensembles harken back to the days of Grease, poodle skirts, and bow ties.

The audience gave the dance group a standing ovation as they finished their performance. Dave then presented them with the Golden Buzzer. He said, “‘It was fantastic, fellas. I loved it so much that I’m going to do it again!”

“Your passion is just flowing out, it’s just beautiful to witness,” judge Alisha Dixon said. “You did a fantastic job, each and every one of you.” Simon said, “It did not appeal to me. It was fantastic!”

“I enjoyed the fact that you were having so much fun,” Simon added. “It was actually one of my favorite auditions.”

Some people mistakenly believe that disability entails inability. But we know that God gave everyone of us gifts and talents in order for us to reflect His glory. We hope that Born To Shine made you smile today!

1 Samuel 16:7 “Do not look at his attractiveness or the height of his stature, since I have rejected him,” the Lord told Samuel. For the Lord does not see like man does: man sees external appearances, but the Lord sees the heart.”
