High School Students Shovel Elderly Woman’s Driveway At 4:30 AM So She Can Go For Her Dialysis
With a snowfall approaching, a group of high school kids shoveled a neighbor’s driveway at 4:30 a.m. so she could go to her dialysis appointment on time.
Students at Parsippany High School in New Jersey, Brian and Patrick Lanigan, live next door to an elderly lady who relies on ambulance service to get to her dialysis appointments.
Even though the weather prediction predicted for 8 more inches of snow, Brian, an EMT, shoveled his neighbor’s driveway last week to make room for the ambulance.
The Lanigan brothers knew they had to aid their neighbor, but they knew they wouldn’t be able to clear the driveway before the ambulance arrived at 6 a.m. since Brian worked early in the morning.
Patrick realized he’d need extra hands to complete the task, so he began dialing folks on his contact list for assistance.
The following morning, at 4:30 a.m., four of his pals arrived with shovels in hand, and within thirty minutes, they had cleared the driveway.
Patrick’s father labeled a photo of the teenagers as “snow angels” and shared it on Twitter, complimenting them for their kindness. The photo has now gone popular on social media, receiving a lot of positive feedback.
