He Sold His House To Send His Daughters To The Us To Study, But They Never Came Back. 10 Years Later, He Decided To Go On A Trip To Find Them

He sold his home to send his daughters to college in the United States, but they never returned. He decided to embark on a search for them ten years later.

Duyen has been selling coffee on the street for ten years, and she hasn’t seen her two kids since they moved to the United States to further their education.

Since 2009, when his children graduated and left him alone in his hometown of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the 74-year-old single father hasn’t seen his daughters.

Since his wife died, the man has raised two kids on his own, according to Vietucnews.

The father is under a lot of strain as the family’s lone earner to guarantee that his two girls receive the greatest education and have all they require.

In the end, he decided to sell the property in order to send his daughter to university in another country.

The aging coffee vendor then downsized to a smaller, less expensive home while continuing to sell his daily coffee on the street. All he had hoped for all these years was for his two children to graduate with honors and find a good career.

His daughters are physicians and professors, but none of them had visited their father in their hometown in the last ten years.

As a result, the father traveled to the United States to reconcile with his two daughters. The father just erected a sign over his stall announcing that he’ll be taking a long vacation from selling coffee now that he’s accumulated enough money for plane tickets and costs.

The father stated on the banner that he will be taking 48 days off from March 5 to April 21, 2019.

“I don’t have any precious items to bring to the United States,” the father explained, “so I’ll be sending 3kg of coffee beans as gifts.”

Despite the fact that his two daughters have never paid him a visit, Duyen claims that they frequently phone to check on their children. He doesn’t mind, though, as long as his kid is healthy and happy.
