Gorilla Mama Brings Her Baby To Meet Mom And Newborn On Other Side Of Glass

“My wife lifted out our kid to show Kiki, who was on the opposite side of the fence… suddenly Kiki grabbed Pablo and carried him across to us on her leg.”

A mother is a mother, regardless of whether she is human or animal.

Because it is the strongest kind of attachment, a mother’s love for her children cannot be quantified. There is nothing a mother would not do for the welfare and well-being of her children, and this is what distinguishes these beings.

Emmily and Michael Austin of Maine decided to take their one-month-old baby to the Boston Zoo. Despite his inability to comprehend anything, they were anxious to begin making memories, and the one they made there is one that will last a lifetime.

Emmily was traveling by the gorilla cage when she decided to stop and exhibit her infant child Canyon to one of the gorillas, Kiki. The small boy took Kiki by surprise. She was staring at him with interest before deciding to do something very touching.

Pablo, Kiki’s 7-month-old baby gorilla, was placed on her lap by Kiki. She now wanted the Austins to meet her kid after meeting Canyon. Pablo, like Kiki, was enthralled by Canyon and couldn’t take his gaze away from him. Through the glass, he even tried to touch him.

“My wife stated that now that she is a mother, she feels like she understands their link and can see how much she cares for Pablo,” Michael told the Dodo. “My wife lifted out our kid to show Kiki, who was on the opposite side of the fence… suddenly Kiki grabbed Pablo and carried him across to us on her leg.”

“At one point, Pablo pressed his face to the glass, and they stood there, noses touching, watching him.” Tears welled up in both my wife’s and my eyes.”

This was one of the most memorable experiences in the Austin family’s lives, especially because it featured their kid.

“It was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had.” What a wonderful memory to pass down to our children one day!” Michael remarked.

Although these two women were unable to communicate through words, they were able to bond by feelings and their shared love for their children.
