Michael Jackson’s Son Is Growing Up To Be A Handsome Young Man

Michael Jackson’s music and entertainment legacy have made him famous around the world – he isn’t dubbed as the “King of Pop” for nothing. He has become a household name thanks to a long career filled with popular songs, show-stopping performances, and celebrity collaborations. And, despite his tumultuous life, there’s no disputing that Michael made an unforgettable influence on music history.

The artist’s personal life piqued public curiosity, particularly his marriage to Elvis’ daughter Lisa Marie Presley, but he was an exceedingly private person who kept his profession and personal life apart for the most part. That included his prior partnerships as well as his children. Michael has three children, including a son named Michael Joseph “Prince” Jackson Jr., a daughter named Paris Jackson, and another son named Prince Michael “Blanket” Jackson II, which many people were unaware of. The Jackson children were kept out of the spotlight for the majority of their life, save on the rare occasions when they publicly joined their father. Following their father’s death, they were propelled into the spotlight for a brief while before fading away.

Paris, on the other hand, has recently started a career in the entertainment sector, which has cast some light on the Jackson children. Prince Michael, who was known as “Blanket” during his childhood, has finally grown up, having turned 19 in February. The young man has officially entered adulthood, having recently purchased his own multimillion-dollar property and ditched his previous moniker in favor of Bigi.

Their popularity grew even more, with Michael, the group’s youngest member, emerging as a star. Years later, he was dubbed a “prodigy” by “Rolling Stone,” who said that he “soon emerged as the main draw and lead singer” of the Jackson 5.

Michael continued to play with the Jackson 5 while also establishing himself as a solo artist, releasing albums on Motown, the group’s record label. Michael, who was in his late teens and early twenties at the time, became even more autonomous after going to New York to star in the musical film “The Wiz” in the late 1970s. Other music genres, such as hip hop, impacted him while he was there, which helped him develop his sound into something more complicated. “Off the Wall,” his fifth solo album, released in 1979, pushed him in a new direction and cemented his status as a solo performer.

When Michael’s 1982 album “Thriller” became the best-selling album of 1983, the best-selling album of all time in the United States, and the best-selling record globally, the 1980s reinforced Michael’s hegemony over pop music. That was also the year he introduced his characteristic moonwalk dance, which would later become his trademark.

His star rose even further during the next several years as he collaborated with and befriended well-known artists, maintained his humanitarian work, and released his follow-up album “Bad” in 1987, which included “We Are the World,” which he co-wrote with Lionel Richie.

During this decade, he also began to shift dramatically in looks. As fracturing his nose during a dance routine, he had his first rhinoplasty, but after breathing problems developed as a result of the procedure, he had more. He also had vitiligo, which is a skin disorder that causes the skin to lose its pigment cells. Michael sought expert help from a dermatologist, and it’s thought that his skin lost a significant amount of pigment as a result of using skin bleaching products and his vitiligo deteriorating, giving him a much paler appearance than in his youth. Michael’s appearance has altered dramatically from the beginning of the decade to the end.

Debbie Rowe, a dermatology clinic assistant who would later become his second wife and mother of his first two children, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. and Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, met him at his dermatological clinic. If the 1980s catapulted Michael to the top, the 1990s catapulted him into orbit.

Michael began the 1990s with the release of his album “Dangerous,” which included singles including “Black or White,” “Heal the World,” and “Remember the Time.” He was at the top of his game musically, but his personal life was causing even more controversy. Around this time, he began construction on his Neverland ranch, which included a Ferris wheel, carousel, zoo, and movie theater.

Then, in 1993, he married Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis’ daughter. Some speculated that their union would barely last a year and a half, and that it was really a publicity ploy. But only a few years later, Michael married for the second time, this time to Rowe, a dermatology assistant he had known for years. At the time of their wedding, Rowe was six months pregnant with Michael Joseph, who is known as “Prince.” On February 13, 1997, he was born. Paris, the couple’s second child, was born on April 3, 1998, just over a year later. Unfortunately, their marriage did not endure, and they divorced in 1999, with Michael keeping custody of the children following a $8 million deal.

Michael’s legend continued to grow in the following years, but he was increasingly chastised for his strange behavior.

Michael’s image wasn’t as pristine as it once was in his youth, from his childhood-themed Neverland Ranch to his connections with young children and lawsuits he became entangled in, and it all took a toll on him mentally. He kept recording and releasing music, but it was evident that the musician was under a lot of stress.

Michael had his third child in 2002, this time through an anonymous surrogate. Prince Michael Jackson II’s father gave him the moniker “Blanket,” which was just another evidence of Michael’s growing odd conduct.

Then, on Nov. 20, 2002, Michael dangled his young son from a balcony in Berlin, Germany, causing even more outrage.

The musician was surrounded by fans and paparazzi as soon as he arrived at the Hotel Adlon. Soon after, he went out onto his fourth-floor hotel balcony and dangled his kid, who was wearing a sheet over his head, over the side. The incident was caught on camera, and Michael was widely chastised in the media.

According to MTV, Michael said the incident was a “bad error” in a statement made shortly after. He went on to say:

“I make no apologies for what occurred. I became engrossed in the moment’s excitement. I would never put my children’s lives in jeopardy on purpose.”

The outrage was compounded by the fact that Blanket was a complete mystery to the rest of the world – no one knew who his mother was, and Rowe had to deny it was her, and he hadn’t been seen in public until he was roughly 6 months old.

Following the incident, Michael chose to keep his children out of the spotlight, which drew even more attention to them.

Prince, Paris, and Blanket were relatively unknown throughout the majority of the 2000s, but with their father’s unexpected death in 2009 at the age of 50, the Jackson children were propelled into the spotlight.

Prince, Paris, and Blanket were all seven years old at the time of Michael’s death, and they made their first public appearance at his funeral in 2009. In the following year, during the Grammy Awards, the two older Jackson children collected a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award for their father. But, for the most part, the three of them spent the following few years well hidden from the public view.

However, as Michael’s children have grown into young adults, it appears that they are choosing to follow in some of their father’s footsteps. Paris was the first to make a name for herself in the public eye as a model and actor. She’s been outspoken in recent years about how she struggled as a teenager after her father died, but she’s now in a much better position. Prince has also made numerous public appearances, stating that “music is a big part of [his] life” in an interview with the “Los Angeles Times.” He continued:

“My family impacted who I am, but I’ve always wanted to work in production.” When my father would ask me what I wanted to accomplish, I would always say producing and directing.”

With Prince at the age of 24 and Paris at the age of 23, the Jackson siblings’ older siblings are fully grown adults taking their first important steps in their careers. But what about the youngest child, Blanket? He’s still a bit of a mystery to the rest of the world, but as he’s gotten older — he’s now 19 — we’re learning more about the young man he’s becoming.

Blanket was reared by his grandmother, Michael’s own mother Katherine Jackson, who had become his legal guardian after Michael’s death, as well as Prince and Paris. Blanket made waves in 2015 when “Radar Online” reported that he had changed his name to Bigi after years of bullying as a result of his old nickname. According to a source who spoke to the publication,

“He hated his father for calling him Blanket since he thought it was such a dumb name.”

The insider continued:

“As a kid, his classmates were usually a little cruel to him because they were jealous of who he was, and going by Blanket made him a lot easier to mock.”

Bigi’s name was changed as she began school at The Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, California. Although it may appear insignificant, the move was undoubtedly significant for Bigi, who was beginning to make his own decisions.

“People” published an article in 2017 about the Jackson children’s well-being, with a family acquaintance informing the publication:

“The kids live as if Michael is always gazing down on them,” says Bigi, who “has had the most difficulty adjusting since Michael’s death.” He appeared befuddled and distressed.”

After being significantly remodeled from its initial construction, the 6,382-square-foot mansion now has six bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms.

Despite the fact that he has only recently become a legal adult, Bigi has made significant progress in recent years, despite his preference for a private existence. “I’m very pleased of the handsome, bright, perceptive, hilarious, and kind young man” that Bigi had become, Paris wrote on his birthday in 2020, before adding, “he enjoys privacy so that’s all I gotta say.”

Bigi is the most elusive of Michael’s children, but an early conversation with him from the 2012 documentary “Jacksonology: Our Story,” as reported by “Mirror,” provides us a sense of what the young man could want to do with his life. He stated:

“I would occasionally walk into his [my father’s] room and observe him while he was getting ready for anything. He could dance, and he could dance quite well. I can’t sing or dance… I’m not one of those people who sings and dances… I want to be a director when I grow up because it’s fun, and I make little movies with cousins and friends and other things when I’m at home. He [father] stated that would be beneficial, so do whatever you want.”
