Crying at the Mall, Girl Gets Consoled by a Stranger, Falls in Love and Marries Him Months Later
Love may be discovered in the most unexpected locations – as was the case with Nur Afilah Amr Rusdi, a 24-year-old lady. She met her future spouse at a shopping center.
Nur Afilah, or just Fla as she is called among friends, was crying in a café in Pavilion Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in December 2018 because she was angry with her housemate.
“I was crying when suddenly, this dude approached me when I was alone,” Fla said. He began to console me. I was first concerned since I was alone and worried that he might take advantage of me. But I noticed that he was sincere, and I was moved by his certainty. “I believe in fate, and Allah has brought him to me,” says the narrator.
The guy, on the other hand, just had decent intentions. He is Adama Mohamed Camara, a 26-year-old from Guinea, West Africa, who was studying for his Master’s degree at the University Sultan Zainal Abidin Terengganu at the time.
When Adama saw Fila crying, he was pulled to her and wanted to console her; as a result, he approached her even though he had no idea who she was. “What I admire most about Fla is her intelligence, kindness, and thoughtfulness. I’ve traveled to many countries, but she is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. Adama said, “I adore everything about her.”
Adama and Fla would shortly start dating. Adama invited Fla to a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia two months after they first met; however, she declined since they were not married and she could not go with him there because it was forbidden. This quickly led to thoughts of marriage – with Adama returning home with her to beg her parents for permission to marry them!
The marriage was approved by Fila’s father.
“When Adama asked my father for permission to marry me, he said that as long as the paperwork was done, he would approve. Because my father is abrasive and prickly, I trust in his decision as long as he agrees,” Fla sad. Last April 26, the two tied the wedding in front of family and friends.
The story of Adama and Fila demonstrates that love can be found in the most unexpected locations and in the most unexpected circumstances.
