Mom Adopts 3rd Sibling After Learning She Was Fostering Son’s Biological Sister

Despite the fact that Grayson and Hannah didn’t look anything alike, the name on their bracelets piqued Katie’s interest.

Life is full of miracles, and wonderful things are just around the corner, waiting for us to open our arms and welcome them in.

Katie Price, 30, saw her divorce not as a setback, but as an opportunity to restart her life and find pleasure in fostering children.

Despite her infertility challenges, she felt she would be a wonderful mother one day, whether or not she gave birth to the children in her life.

Katie had fostered four children over the years, but her life changed dramatically when she received a call about an abandoned 4-day-old baby who needed to be adopted.

Katie and Grayson had an unbreakable relationship throughout his time in her care, and she eventually adopted him when he was 11 months old. The day Grayson became Katie’s legal son was, without a doubt, the best day of her life.

Katie’s life was full once she adopted Grayson, but she knew she wanted to adopt other children in the future.

She received a call from a caseworker one day, telling her about a newborn girl who had been surrendered at the same hospital where Grayson had been a year before. They inquired as to Katie’s interest in fostering the young lady.

“I KNOW I AM CRAZY, BUT GOD IS TELLING ME TO SAY ‘YES,’ KEPT COMING OUT OF MY MOUTH FOR THE NEXT 10 MINUTES AND SUBSEQUENT PHONE CALLS I MADE THAT AFTERNOON.”

Katie’s baby Hannah became a member of her family not long after.

However, something peculiar caught the girl’s attention when she was being dropped off at Katie’s residence. Hannah’s mother was stated as having the same name as Grayson’s mother.

That may just be a coincidence, but Katie had a feeling there was more to the tale than that.

Grayson and Hannah didn’t seem anything similar, but the name on their wristbands piqued Katie’s interest.

KATIE WROTE ON HER BLOG, “GRAYSON IS HALF AFRICAN AMERICAN WITH BEAUTIFUL DARKER SKIN AND DARK CURLY HAIR.” “THE BABY GIRL HAS STRAIGHT RED-BLONDE HAIR AND A PALE WHITE SKIN TONE.”

Katie’s intuition didn’t mislead Hannah’s biological mother when she spoke with her. That woman revealed to her that she had given birth to a boy before Hannah.

Katie’s adoptive children were biological half-siblings, according to a DNA test.

“What if Baby Girl had been adopted by a different family?” Katie wrote about it on her blog. “We would never have discovered her or Grayson’s mother if it hadn’t been for her.” The link would never have been discovered!

“I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw what had happened.”

“I had the oddest sensation ever the day I said ‘Yes’ to taking the Baby Girl. I don’t think I’d ever felt an unequivocal call from God until that moment.

My intellect was telling me to say ‘no,’ since it didn’t make sense and wasn’t in my plans, but something inside me was compelling me to say ‘yes.’ It’s a true miracle, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity… Whatever you want to call it, the fact that my children have discovered one other is incredible.”

Katie’s family adventure, however, does not end there. She is now considering adopting the five-month-old sibling of her children.

The three siblings might be reared together now that newborn Jackson is in the family.
