Woman, 34, Who Was Told She Had ‘Low Chance Of Falling Pregnant’ Becomes A Mom-of-three
Three for the price of one! After having twins two days after her daughter’s first birthday, a 34-year-old woman who was told she had a “very low probability of becoming pregnant” becomes a mother-of-three inside a year.
Following the birth of identical twins two days after her daughter’s first birthday, a lady who was told she had a’very tiny chance of conceiving naturally’ has revealed how she became a mother-of-three in only one year.
Emma Geairns, 34, of Poole, gave birth to twin sons Noah and Arthur in February 2021, only two days after her daughter Harlow celebrated her first birthday.
The twins, who are now nine months old, and Harlow, who is 21 months old, were born after Emma was told she wouldn’t be able to conceive because of the way her cervix and uterus were aligned.
Emma, who works in property development, and her husband, Jamie, 32, tried for a year before becoming pregnant with Harlow – and were taken aback when they became pregnant again just a few months later.
Doctors warned Emma, who was 25 at the time, that she had an extremely slim chance of conceiving naturally.
Twin pregnancies, on the other hand, aren’t always easy.
Emma claims that when she first informed Jamie, he didn’t believe her.
Emma and Jamie do not intend to have any more children at this time.
‘Having three children under the age of two is quite stressful,’ she remarked.
‘It’s incredible, but it’s a lot of effort.’
‘We are quite fortunate to have three healthy children, and I am extremely grateful.’
