She told INSIDER, “He was just in disbelief that I was walking since he had no idea.” With the support of leg braces and a walker, Hill was able to walk down the aisle, which was a dream come true for him. Furthermore, her custom-designed Galia Lahav wedding gown included a removable skirt to make the changeover smoother. “I’d like to emphasize that there’s nothing wrong with sitting in your chair,” Hill said. Hill was paralyzed after a catastrophic vehicle accident when she was 17 years old in 2010. Despite her physical limitations, she never let them hold her back in life, even founding the Rollettes, a wheelchair dancing team.

Having said that, walking down the aisle had always been a fantasy of hers. “But growing up, I always saw myself walking down the aisle,” she added as they exchanged wedding vows and she explained the significance of the event. “On my wedding day, I had envisaged standing eye to eye with my spouse for the rest of my life. I wasn’t sure if I’d ever meet someone who genuinely loved me after my injury “Hill shared a portion of the vows in an Instagram post. You have totally embraced, honored, and appreciated every aspect of me. I wanted to accomplish something I’d always wanted to do in this moment. As we dedicate our lives to one other, let us stand eye to eye “she came to a conclusion.

Following her marriage to the guy of her dreams. Hill rose up and danced with his wife for the first time as a married couple. But she didn’t stop there; she had another great surprise in store for her visitors. During the reception, she and her father performed an incredible father-daughter dance that wowed the audience. When Soulja Boy’s 2007 hit song Crank That began playing, the customary slow dance, complete with twirls and cuddles, took a sharp turn. On cue, her father ripped open his white shirt to reveal his custom-made “Father of the Bride” tuxedo before tearing up the dance floor with a passionate routine set to a famous mix of classics, including Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk and MC Hammer’s U Can’t Touch This.

“I wouldn’t do this with anyone else but my daughter,” Hill’s father said in a behind-the-scenes video uploaded on Hill’s YouTube page. The day was a resounding success, and Hill was overjoyed with how everything came out. “”To say it was a dream is an understatement, every inch of this past weekend was flawless to our friends and family that attended- thank you for coming in from all around,” she said on Instagram, reminiscing on her big day. Each of you contributed so much to Jay and myself, so get ready for a lot of content because we’re going to bring the wedding to YOU!!”
