This medical miracle happens once in 50 million cases, and this is the first time in Kazakhstan.
A woman from Kazakhstan is a real medical miracle after giving birth to her second twin 11 weeks after the first.
Lilija Konovalova gave birth to a girl prematurely on May 24, and gave birth to her twin son on August 9.
Doctors estimate that this is a case that happens once in 50 million, and it happened in Kazakhstan for the first time.
The 29-year-old mother gave birth to her first baby Leah in the 25th gestational week with less than one kilogram, while the second baby Maxim weighed 2.9 kilograms.
This occurred as a result of a rare maternal abnormality. She had a double uterus and so each twin developed separately.
Lilia thanks the medical team for rescuing her premature baby and they are already home together.
