Liam Neeson Still Speaks To Late Wife Natasha “As If She’s Here” Every Single Day At Her Grave

The late wife of Liam Neeson still holds a special place in his heart. The native of Ireland was previously wed to Natasha Richardson from 1994 until her tragic passing in 2009 after a skiing accident. The beloved actress passed away at the young age of 45, leaving behind sons Michael, 26, and Daniel, 25. Since her passing, their father, who is 70 years old, has not remarried.

In 1993, Neeson and the British actress were cast on opposite sides of the Broadway production of Anna Christie. The Parent Trap actress was 29 years old at the time and wed to producer Robert Fox, but she knew Neeson was the one the moment they met. “She was stunning in every way. Yes, hair that cascades. I can recall. There was—that was extremely alluring. I had never experienced such intense chemistry with an actor or actress before “Neeson revealed on 60 Minutes with Anderson Cooper. “Every night on stage, we had this fantastic form of spontaneous dancing. We resembled [Fred] Astaire and [Ginger] Rogers in many ways.”

Richardson and her eldest son, Michael, were on a ski trip in Quebec, Canada, in March 2009. The energetic actress struck her head while she descended a beginner’s slope on Mont Tremblant. Unfortunately, Richardson, who is a famous British actress and the daughter of Vanessa Redgrave, wasn’t protected by a helmet. She apparently declined medical care since she felt great immediately after the fall and was unaware of how seriously she had been impacted. When she called him, Neeson was in Toronto filming a movie. She responded, “Oh, sweetheart, when I spoke to her. I slipped and fell in the snow.” That was how she put it, “He revealed. When she passed away, her children were just 12 and 13 years old. Neeson remembered: “She had concern for everyone. She possesses a maternal instinct. She would also prepare meals for everyone and simply take care of us all. You realize?”

Because of his daily trips to her burial, which is not far from his house in upstate New York, Neeson’s affection for her still endures. I speak to her every day at her grave, which is about a mile and a half down the road, according to The Sun. I do talk to her as though she is here because I travel down there pretty frequently. Not that she responds to me. What a lovely display of affection from the Taken actor.
