Sylvester Stallone Covered His Tattoo Of Jennifer Flavin Prior To Their Divorce Announcement

After 25 years of marriage, Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin have chosen to divorce. According to PEOPLE, on August 19, 2022, Flavin, 54, submitted a petition “for dissolution of marriage and other remedies” from the 76-year-old Creed star to a court in Palm Beach County, Florida.

“I regret to inform you that I have requested a divorce from Sylvester Stallone after 25 years of marriage. Even though we are no longer married, I will always be grateful for the more than 30-year relationship we had since I know we both care deeply about our lovely girls. I respectfully request that our family’s privacy be respected as we proceed “read Flavin’s statement, who started dating Stallone in 1988.

Stallone also made the following remarks to PEOPLE: “I cherish my family. We are resolving these private matters peacefully and in private.” Although the reason for their split hasn’t been made public, a source close to the couple told TMZ that Flavin’s application for divorce was the consequence of a significant argument over a dog.

A Rottweiler named Dwight was reportedly purchased by the 76-year-old actor for the sake of “protecting” their family. But getting a second dog didn’t exactly excite Flavin. As they “fiercely held to their stances,” the two were unable to come to an agreement. They had “an incredibly intense disagreement that brought up additional issues” in their marriage as a result, but at that time, the source added, it didn’t appear like “marriage-enders.”

However, Stallone refuted these allegations and stated that their argument over Dwight did not lead to the dissolution of their marriage. He told TMZ, “We did not end the relationship on such a small quarrel,” adding that they had decided to split up because they were “moving in separate paths.” “I have nothing but admiration for Jennifer. I’ll adore her forever. She is a remarkable woman. She is the most kind-hearted person I’ve ever met” he added.

That’s not all, though. With a picture of his late dog Butkus, Stallone covered over his tattoo of Flavin. According to Stallone’s publicist Michelle Bega, “Mr. Stallone planned to update the tattoo picture of his wife Jennifer; but, the results were unpleasant and, unfortunately, unfixable.”

“Mr. Stallone cherishes his relations. Stallone concurred, adding that he had wanted to “freshen up” Falvin’s tattoo but “it got screwed up and the dog was just a fix with no ill purpose. The Stallones are currently filming a reality program together that will premiere on Paramount.”
