Kate Middleton Wore This Elegant Pink Dress To Make A Five-year-old Girl’s Dream Come True

Mila Sneddon, who had been given a leukemia diagnosis, was separated from her father while receiving chemotherapy during the epidemic.

Kate Middleton fulfilled a five-year-old girl’s ambition to meet a real princess wearing her favorite hue. The Duchess of Cambridge is highly known for her impeccable sense of style and consults with numerous stylists to stay on top of fashions acceptable for her position in the royal family. The renowned fashion icon reportedly eschewed fashion advice in favor of dressing like Mila Sneddon, a little child who underwent chemotherapy after being diagnosed with leukemia, would have wanted, according to Cambridge News. Mila became a symbol of loneliness during the epidemic after a picture of her kissing the kitchen window while her father looked on outside went viral. It was taken at the start of the epidemic, when strict isolation regulations were in place.

At the time of the photo, Mila had just been undergoing chemotherapy for four months, and her father Scott didn’t want to take any chances. He completely cut himself off from Mila as a safety measure, but after seven weeks they were back together. In May 2021, Middleton fulfilled Mila’s ambition to witness a princess wearing her favorite color, pink, when she brought Mila to the Queen’s home in Edinburgh. During a phone discussion Mila had with the Duchess earlier, Middleton promised to wear pink.

When the appointed hour came, Mila and the Duchess assembled at Holyrood Palace wearing matching floaty pink dresses. Mila also wore a beautiful tiara. Middleton remarked, “I want to give you a giant squeezy embrace,” as soon as she spotted Mila. “Being able to finally meet you was great. Can you do a little twirl? Your shoes are just gorgeous.” Mila told ITV that she and the Duchess had a lovely talk and called them other “best friends.” The five-year-old was given the leukemia diagnosis when she was only four years old, in November of last year. She was pronounced cancer-free in April 2022, and to mark the milestone, she rang the bell at the Team Jack Cancer Center. The Duchess also sent Mila a handwritten letter once it was determined that she was cancer-free.

According to Mila’s mother Lynda, the letter was a “A great keepsake that Mila will treasure forever. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, you are appreciated for your thoughtfulness.” Middleton has always gotten along well with children. Former Commonwealth Gold-winning table tennis player Matthew Syed told Cambridge News that he found his youngster “chatting cheerfully” with the Duchess of Cambridge when he returned from the train’s washroom. Syed, who is now a journalist, asserted that he overheard a woman talk to him while his child waited for him outside the lavatory. He exited the restroom and turned to thank the woman for entertaining his son after realizing who it was. I’m ready to say, “Thanks for keeping him company,” to the woman waiting her turn. My brow furrows, and my face twitches. There are no armed security personnel in the vestibule, so I yell, “Kate?” The Duchess of Cambridge, though, may be seen here having fun with my son, who wrote a column for the newspaper.
