Why Britney Spears’ Brother, Bryan, Didn’t Go To Her Wedding

Bryan Spears, Britney’s brother, was unable to attend her wedding due to a family engagement.

Amber Lynn Conklin, Bryan’s girlfriend, revealed on the couple’s joint Instagram account that his daughter graduated from elementary school last Thursday, the same day Britney married her fiancé, Sam Asghari.

“Last week, we watched our little munchkin and 5th grade Vice President graduate to middle school!” Conklin wrote a selfie with Bryan and the 11-year-old, whom the producer shares with his ex-wife, Graciella Sanchez, “We love you Lexie darling and SO proud of you.”

Conklin mentioned in the comments section of another post that her beau “couldn’t help the timings” of his daughter’s graduation and his sister’s wedding, both of which were in the Los Angeles area.

“Bryan felt bad about having to pick, but he had to be there for his daughter,” the model stated. “He extended his love to Britney x1000000.” “We are so disappointed to have missed such an important event, but we are overjoyed for Britney and Sam’s wedding!” 🙏.”

“Both ceremonies were around the same time,” a source tells Page Six exclusively. Bryan couldn’t be in two places at the same time, and he didn’t want to let Lexie down by attending a wedding right after her moving up ceremony, when she gave a particular speech. He wanted to be present to witness the birth of his daughter.”

Bryan, 45, is said to be the only member of the Spears family who was invited to Britney’s wedding. After a falling out over her conservatorship, which a LA judge dissolved in November 2021 after nearly 14 years, she kept her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, and her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, off the guest list.

Nonetheless, Lynne, 67, wished Britney, 40, a happy birthday on Instagram, writing, “I am soooo thrilled for you!” “I’m in love with you!”

Jamie Lynn, 31, did not publicly congratulate her older sister, despite “liking” several wedding-related posts.

Jamie, who is 69 years old, does not use social media.

After nearly six years together and just eight months after getting engaged, Britney and Asghari, 28, sealed the knot at her Thousand Oaks, Calif., home.

Madonna, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, and Donatella Versace, who designed the “Toxic” singer’s attire, were among their guests, as were the personal trainer-turned-three actor’s sisters.

Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, Britney’s sons, were not in attendance because, according to their father Kevin Federline’s attorney, “they believe the attention of this day should be on Britney and Sam.”
