Cristiano Ronaldo Wrote a Heartbreaking Post About the Death of His Newborn Son

Cristiano Ronaldo recently spoke up about the death of his baby son. On Monday, the soccer player and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodrguez, sent a note to communicate the devastating news.

“It is with great sadness that we must inform you that our baby son has passed away. “Any parent can suffer the deepest pain,” Ronaldo posted on Instagram. “Only our baby girl’s birth has given us the strength to live this moment with hope and happiness.”

During this terribly painful period, Ronaldo thanked the physicians and nurses for their “excellent care” and sought solitude. “We’re all crushed,” the pair expressed their sorrow. “… You are our angel, our sweet boy. “You will always be loved by us.”

Ronaldo announced that he and his wife were expecting twins in October of last year. “Our hearts are full of love – we can’t wait to meet you. A few months later, the athlete disclosed the twins would be a boy and a girl in a heartwarming video. “This is where life begins and love never ends,” he wrote.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Eva Maria Ronaldo, Alana Martina Ronaldo, and Mateo Ronaldo are Ronaldo’s four children. He’s only had positive things to say about becoming a father, telling Hello! in 2017 that it’s “totally transformed” him.

“It’s really a one-of-a-kind and personal experience,” he remarked. “It has taught me things about love that I had no idea existed.” It has softened me and given me a fresh perspective on what matters most in life.” Being a father and raising a family is without a doubt the greatest honor I’ve ever received. I’m loving every minute of it.” He went on to say that he “cherish[es] and enjoy[s] every moment” with his children.

We’re sending Ronaldo and Georgina our best wishes during this extremely hard moment.
