Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Are Engaged — Again

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have rekindled their romance!

Lopez revealed the news in a short video on her fan newsletter, On The JLo, in which she adoringly gazes at a green-hued diamond ring.

“You’re perfect,” Lopez adds in a voiceover while love music plays.

Lopez teased the “amazing and special” announcement on Facebook on Friday evening.

The video is an engagement announcement, according to individuals close to the artist.

Lopez, 52, and Affleck, 49, stoked engagement rumors earlier this week when she was photographed shopping in Los Angeles with her 14-year-old daughter Emme wearing a ring on her wedding finger.

Insiders close to Affleck recently told Page Six that they wouldn’t be surprised if he proposed again.

After they started dating in 2002, fans and the media dubbed them “Bennifer.” As indicated by PDA-heavy moments of Lopez’s “Jenny From the Block” music video, the two weren’t shy to show their passion for one another at the time.

Affleck proposed to Lopez with a Harry Winston 6.1-carat pink diamond in November of that year. The $2.5 million enormous sparkler is claimed to have cost.

Lopez addressed her first engagement with Diane Sawyer in the 2000s, describing her fiancé as “brilliantly smart, gorgeous, attractive, and affectionate.”

She went on to say, “The most magnificent thing I’ve ever seen,” alluding to her stunning ring.

Unfortunately, due to extensive media attention, the couple’s wedding in 2003 was postponed and then cancelled.

The statement continued, “We began to believe that the essence of what should have been the best day of our life could be harmed.” We were worried that what should have been a special day for us, our family, and friends would be destroyed.”

Lopez called off the engagement in early 2004, and she married singer Marc Anthony in June of that year. Max and Emme, the couple’s twins, arrived in the world in 2008.

Affleck has moved on from Jennifer Garner in the meantime. He married the actress in 2005, and the couple has three children: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.

Lopez began a fresh whirlwind affair with Alex Rodriguez in 2017, despite the fact that both of their marriages ended in divorce.

Affleck was associated to a variety of women, including “Knives Out” star Ana De Armas, until their January 2021 split.

Shortly after Lopez’s breakup from A-Rod, Affleck stepped in and reconciled with her. The couple has been going strong since then, having recently spent $50 million on a Bel Air house.

“I don’t believe anyone was more astonished than us,” the “Marry Me” star said on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in February. “You’d never think something like that could happen. It’s a beautiful thing.”
