Student Who Walked 7 Miles To Work Each Day Receives New Car Through Woman’s Act Of Kindness

When Jayden Sutton’s family went through a difficult time, the young guy took matters into his own hands. To save money for his own automobile, the adolescent walked 7 miles to work and back every day after school.

Jayden’s sacrifice, on the other hand, was not unnoticed. And when Jayden’s classmate’s mother saw him walking to work every day, she decided to reach out and provide a hand.

Lavonda Wright of Atlanta, Georgia was driving along Brownsville Road with her son one day when they observed one of her son’s classmates, Jayden Sutton, running down the road on foot. When Lavonda’s son noticed the young guy, he tapped her on the shoulder and said, “Mom, I think that’s Jayden,” leading Lavonda to pull over and offer him a lift to work.

Lavonda claimed that she couldn’t get the young man and his everyday commute to work out of her head following this meeting. And she started thinking about how she might buy Jayden his own automobile. Lavonda turned to social media to beg friends, family, and generous strangers for $4,000 in charity donations using the GoFundMe fundraising site.

As news spread about Jayden’s tale, more and more individuals opted to give, and the original target of $4,000 was more than quadrupled. Lavonda then brought the money to a Union City Honda dealership, where she told the general manager about Jayden’s condition and secured him a terrific price on a car.

Jayden was then taken to the showroom by Lavonda, who surprised him with his new automobile. As he took his first glance around the car, Jayden couldn’t take his smile off his face. After taking in the scenario, Jayden made a point of thanking everyone who assisted him and encouraging everyone working toward a goal to keep going. Because you never know when someone will come to your aid.
