Jessica Alba Eloped With Husband Cash Warren 12 Years Ago And Says Their Partnership Is ‘Most Important’ Aspect Of Life

Jessica Alba has been a hugely popular actress in Hollywood since the early 2000s. She’s not only stunning, but she’s also known for being a total darling, so it’s no surprise that the world fell in love with her after she rose to popularity on the show “Dark Angel.”

She ruled Hollywood after her stint on the show, starring in films such as “Honey,” “Fantastic Four,” and “Sin City,” among others. But, in addition to acting, Alba has shown to be a successful entrepreneur, having founded The Honest Company in 2011. It focuses in baby, personal, and household products, and the company was valued at $1.7 billion in 2015.

Alba has a wonderful family life in addition to her great career achievements. Honor Marie is 13 years old, Haven Garner is 10 years old, and Hayes is 4 years old. She is married to Cash Warren and they have three children together: Honor Marie, Haven Garner, and Hayes. Cash worked in the film industry as well, and the two met while Alba was filming “Fantastic Four” and Cash was working for the director. Cash is no stranger to entrepreneurship, having founded his own company with pals in 2012. It’s called Pair of Thieves, and it sells high-quality basics like socks and underwear while also helping the most fortunate.

The couple appears to have a lot in common, so it’s no wonder that they’ve been happily married for more than 12 years.

Unlike Hollywood relationships that fizzle out, theirs looks to be growing stronger with each passing year. Let’s take a peek at their spontaneous marriage and the happy life they’ve created together.

Cash may be well-known to Alba fans, but he isn’t well-known to the general public. This is due to the fact that, although having worked in the film industry, he has always preferred behind-the-scenes employment. He began his career as a director’s assistant on the films “Taxi” and “Fantastic Four,” where he met Alba, but quickly moved into producing and executive producing positions.

Cash found his true passion in 2012, when he and two pals founded a conscious apparel essentials firm. Pair of Thieves began as a sock company with the goal of donating to charities and assisting those in need.

It’s no surprise that the two are a perfect match because they’re both passionate about social concerns and the greater good. Nonetheless, their decision to marry was made on the spur of the moment. When Alba was pregnant with their first child in 2008, the couple awoke one morning and decided they wanted to marry that day. Cash shared with the world how the pair said “I do” in an emotional Instagram photo. He expressed himself as follows:

“We were lying in bed, having one of those wonderful leisurely mornings where we didn’t have to do anything. Honor was 9 months old at the time, and we couldn’t wait to meet her in the following weeks. I’m not sure who came up with the idea first, but the decision we took that day would forever alter our lives.”

He said that they “hopped up, dressed, and drove directly to the courthouse.” “It wasn’t the dream wedding you deserved,” he conceded to Alba, because no relatives or even friends were present, just them and the courtroom staff. He described the situation as “laughably embarrassing,” but it was certainly the correct thing for the couple to do!

Since then, the couple has worked together to instill moral values in their three children. Michael Warren, a former UCLA basketball player and television actor, is Cash’s “hero” father. Cash told Reveal magazine in 2020:

“One thing Jessica and I agree on is that we will not raise a**holes. We’re not going to put up with it if they get out of line. We’ve attempted to uphold the principles instilled in us by our parents.”

This includes “establishing boundaries and routines” as well as teaching their children the value of giving back. When their firms “distribute socks and sanitary supplies” to homeless shelters, they even include their children.

Alba said in a 2019 interview that their marriage has lasted because they prioritize their own relationship as well as raising their children. She told Refinery29 that they organize frequent date nights, and while that may not sound romantic, making time for your relationship is important. She stated:

“If you don’t make time to connect on a date night level, you can just end up going through the motions (…) The kids’ schedules are a priority, your career is a priority, and everything seems to take precedence over the most essential thing: your relationship and the life you’re establishing together.”

She claims that they are “more happier” when they set aside time for themselves. And it’s evident that they’re having a great time together. They don’t feel the need for public demonstrations of affection and prefer to keep their relationship low-key, unlike other Hollywood couples, but they do occasionally congratulate each other on social media. Alba referred to Cash as “my everything” in a post commemorating their 11th wedding anniversary, writing:

“The life we created together is much beyond anything I could have dreamed.”
