“In Return For Your Sufferings, God Gave You Twins”. After Having Stomach Pain, Woman Finds Out She Is Pregnant With Twins

When cancer survivor Josephine experienced severe abdominal discomfort in November 2018, she feared her ovarian cancer had returned.

A woman from Sabah, Malaysia, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2003. Fortunately, she was able to put up a strong fight against it, and she is now cancer-free.

Nonetheless, Josephine couldn’t help but wonder if the disease had returned when she suddenly felt an ache in her lower abdomen years after she had been proclaimed cancer-free.

“I had severe stomach pain one morning in November 2018, and I was worried that my cancer had returned.” “So I went to see the doctor right away and told him about my concern,” Josephine posted on Facebook.

Fortunately, the doctor informed her she should be glad that her ovarian cancer had not returned. Her stomach pain was caused by the fact that she was pregnant.

Despite the good news, Josephine was not overjoyed because she was doubtful of the doctor’s diagnosis. After that, she sought a second opinion.

“I was not happy with the first diagnosis,” she wrote, “so I went to visit the doctor at the hospital where I had surgery to remove my right ovary and chemotherapy 15 years ago.”

It turned out that the first doctor was correct. Josephine was indeed expecting a child! Josephine said, “The doctor explained to me that the pain was caused by my uterus stretching to accommodate the growing fetus.”

Josephine was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy her pregnancy after her second visit to the doctor.

The tension, however, did not end there. During an ultrasound exam when she was 16 weeks pregnant, the doctor discovered another surprise.

“You’re actually expecting twins.” “Are you aware that you’ll be having twins?” Josephine was questioned by the doctor.

The unexpected news caught Josephine off guard.

Despite having just one ovary after having her right ovary removed years ago due to ovarian cancer, it turns out she was going to conceive twin girls.

It was a remarkable miracle that no one, including Josephine, could have predicted. After being diagnosed with ovarian cancer 15 years ago, she never anticipated to have the opportunity to become a mother, and being pregnant with twins was a wonderful blessing.

She couldn’t believe her good fortune in getting pregnant with twins until a nurse who supported her during birthing informed her that it was God’s gift to her in exchange for her suffering.

“God gave you twins in exchange for your hardships,” the nurse explained.

Josephine was holding back tears as she heard the nurse’s comments. It was a beautiful way to sum up her life over the last 15 years.

She has now been gifted with twins as a wonderful recompense for all of her hardships.

On May 25, 2019, Josephine delivered her twin girls via cesarean section at a hospital in Selangor. Josephine and her family deserve a big congratulations!
