Girl Asks Santa for a Kidney for Her Older Brother Instead of Gifts for Herself
One youngster, hoping for a miracle, wrote Santa a letter requesting the most devastating gift. Regrettably, her true identity remained unknown. Would individuals who came across her letter be able to track her down and provide her with the assistance she requires?
Many of us recall being overjoyed to discover our new gifts beneath the tree on Christmas morning, eager to peel the wrapping off.
Normally, these gifts would be toys, but one young girl from North Carolina had a more serious request for Santa.
THE FIRST DISCOVERER
This message to the man of the North Pole was circulated on the internet, prompting internet users to scramble for ways to assist the unknown angel.
Shelly Thomas, a Lowe’s store manager, was the first to discover this message in 2018. She discovered it in a Santa Clause letter drop-off box at a home improvement store.
AS A RESULT, THE SEARCH BEGINS.
The manager was taken aback by the letter’s selflessness and wanted to find out who sent it so the business could do something to assist.
Despite the fact that it was signed “Kaitlyn,” there was no identification, so Thomas did what any 21st-century person would do: he turned to social media.
APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANCE
She shared what she discovered on Facebook, including a photo of the letter for all to see. The unnamed youngster began by stating that she believed in Santa Claus, then went on to write:
“One of my Christmas wishes is for my older brother to have a kidney transplant. [sic]”
The manager wrote in the article, requesting that all online friends share it so that the Lowe’s shop could locate and aid the unidentified girl.
TO THE RESCUE, EVERYONE
Many people sent comments wishing Thomas luck in her hunt and urging her to share the article with others. Dale Gibson Sisti, a Facebook friend, made the following comment:
“Oh my goodness, what a desire!! I just told my Lord about it. I’ll also post to Facebook.”
In general, this manager’s position was well-liked. Those wishing to assist have left 60 comments, little over 100 responses, and over 900 shares.
THE FINAL CALL
When asked if she thinks she’ll be able to find the unidentified little girl, Thomas said she wishes to give the family the impression that someone cares. In addition, the management stated:
“I’ll be there to encourage them and assist them in every way possible. I’m hoping that all of the publicity will encourage more individuals to join engaged.”
Unfortunately, no one has been able to find Kaitlyn or anybody from her family since the Facebook appeal was initially posted. At this moment, all we can do is pray that she and her brother did really receive their Christmas miracle.
