Father Asks Young Son to Be His Best Man and He Gives a Honest Speech at the Wedding

When a guy wanted to marry the love of his life, he chose the cutest best man he could find – his little son. For the important day, the little child wrote a three-page speech that was honest, heartfelt, and amusing.

Everybody wants their special day to be particularly spectacular. Aside from finding the right gown, selecting a suitable venue, and organizing a memorable ceremony, picking the maid-of-honor and best man is crucial.

Typically, a couple invites their closest friends or family to fill these positions, but you might be shocked to learn that in 2014, a guy chose his 7-year-old son to be his best man.

AN INSIGHTFUL DECISION

Nick del Bono had no clue that his son, Vincent, would give the finest best man speech of his life, making an indelible effect on everyone. Vincent gave a wonderful speech to his father and his lovely wife, Lauren Elise.

With a three-page speech in his hands, the tiny guy boldly strolled to the center of the platform. When he took the microphone and introduced himself, the audience erupted in laughter.

In the same spirit, the little boy began sharing a few amusing anecdotes about his father. He reminded the audience about his father’s tactics, such as throwing deodorant balls at Elise, frightening her while she was showering, and making their apartment smell.

HILARIOUS AND HONEST

Everyone in the room burst out laughing at Vincent’s speech. After revealing some amusing facts, the small boy went on to explain why Elise was the ideal life mate for his father. He stated that she was enjoyable to be around and that she even hung out with him.

Elise announced the news on Facebook to TV star Ellen Degeneres, saying she was pleased her family of four was complete in time for Christmas.

The visitors, as well as Vincent’s father and stepmother, were completely unaware of what was about to happen next. The endearing young man then revealed the most heartbreaking news regarding his father.

AN APPROPRIATE LEVEL OF EMOTION

The 7-year-old youngster informed the audience that his father was the most muscular of all the fathers in his class. He then referred to his father as a superhero and revealed all of his abilities. Vincent shared the following:

“When I’m unwell, he takes care of me.” Every night before I go to bed, he reads me a story. He was the one who taught me how to ski. I learned how to toss a baseball from him. He taught me how to be courteous.”

His father never missed any of his games, according to the tiny best man, and he always made him giggle. It was important to him that he communicate how much his father loved him.

BEST MAN IN THE WORLD

The little child also informed the audience that he had no idea what a best man was when his father asked him to be his best man. After assuming the post, though, everything became plain to him. In addition, he stated:

“Every true superhero requires a sidekick, and I’m that sidekick.” Lauren is a gorgeous girl who any TRUE superhero needs by his side. We constitute an invincible squad, in my opinion.”

Vincent ended his statement by expressing his joy that his father had married Elise and that he couldn’t wait to see his newborn brother. His teary-eyed father and stepmom stood up and came over to him after he was finished.

A JOYFUL FAMILY

Vincent was in his father’s arms in a second, and the two enjoyed a heartfelt hug. Fortunately for the young best man, his parents gave birth to a daughter only nine months after their wedding. In 2015, his stepmother announced the happy news on Facebook.

Elise announced the news on Facebook to TV star Ellen Degeneres, saying she was pleased her family of four was complete in time for Christmas. We’re glad Vincent’s request was granted so quickly. What an incredible speech!
