This Dentist Travels Around Brazil To Treat The Teeth Of Poor People For Free
When you succeed in making someone smile, it’s one of the nicest emotions in the world. Mother Teresa observed that a smile is the global language of love and happiness:

Because a Brazilian dentist understands the importance of smiling, he decided to encourage more smiles in order to create more joyful hearts. Felipe Rossi founded Por1sorriso NGO in 2016, and he and his team restore underprivileged people’s teeth for free!
After visiting Mozambique with an NGO called Mission Africa, he felt moved to aid the most needy.
He stated, ”
“After seeing so much human suffering, I decided to use my academic knowledge in dentistry to achieve something broader.”
He began with two buddies, and now Por1Sorriso employs over 20 individuals, as well as a large number of volunteers.
He emphasizes:

Terri Rimmer, one of their numerous patients, revealed that her life had been a living misery before to her operation.
She stated, ”
“My life was a dark hole before surgery.” I spent years unable to grin in photographs, which was humiliating since people shooting group photographs were telling me to’smile,’ and I couldn’t.
In addition, I had to give up a lot of foods that I had enjoyed for years, such as fresh cherries and salads. “It had been 18 years since I had eaten a salad!”
The intervention she underwent was quite difficult. Rossi had to have all of her teeth extracted and bones from a cadaver brought in. She was in agonizing agony for months before fully recovering since the medications she was taking disturbed her stomach.
Rimmer continued, ”
“Now that I’ve had surgery, I can grin in images and feel confident!” When I initially got my dentures in and walked into the dentist’s washroom, all I could think about was smiling at myself in the mirror. After all these years, it felt as if my face had been plugged in! My face was lifted and my eyes were brightened! My mother and others took notice.”
She now has a happy, socially normal life and is treated with the respect she deserves.
