Little Girl Born With A White Patch Of Hair Which Is Exactly The Same As Her Mum’s
We don’t know what the possibilities are that many family members have the same white patch of hair, but we’re guessing they’re minor. That’s exactly what happened when MilliAnna Worthy of Ridgeland, South Carolina, was born. Brianna, her mother, as well as her grandmother and great-grandmother, share the same nsal genetic ancestry as the 18-month-old daughter.
The argument over whether birthmarks are hereditary or random has raged on for a long time. While some believe these markings arise at random, others feel the gene game plays a significant influence in their appearance.
MilliAnna Worthy of Ridgeland, South Carolina, found the latter to be a very joyful reality.
MilliAnna inherited her mother’s white fringe when she was born.
And it looks even better now, 18 months later!
The girl’s hair color is unusual, and it’s for a good reason: it’s caused by poliosis, a rare disease. Because of the disease, the skin and hair surrounding it have insufficient melanin, which is why the white patch developed.
“We’re not sure how far back the birthmark extends,” Brianna explained. “My grandma was adopted as a toddler and has never seen her real family.”
Brianna had always wished that her daughter will inherit the unique feature. Brianna’s soon-to-be mother wasn’t sure whether her daughter would inherit it because one of her older sisters didn’t have it.
“But when they put her on my breast and I realized she had it, I was overjoyed.”
“I came to love it in my hair and felt convinced that it was my own unique signature style,” she says.
Brianna began to believe that her distinguishing feature was her hair. “I plan to raise my kid knowing she is beautiful and wonderful, and not to heed to people’s unpleasant remarks at times,” Brianna stated.
What a lovely and unusual appearance! MilliAnna is fortunate to have a mother that understands her needs and values the unique feature they both have!
Hopefully, one day, the world will be free of hate and rude words, especially toward such lovely and unique people like Brianna and her little princess, MilliAnna.
