Today I’ve got a classic optical illusion for you. But it’s a little perplexing, so let’s see if you can solve it. Can you figure out how many bars there are in the optical illusion below?

Do you know what your response is? The majority of you most likely counted eight bars, but some of you may have counted seven. In a way, you’d all be correct. You would have ended up with either 7 or 8 bars depending on which side of the row of bars you started counting on.
