To begin, you must answer the issue in the parenthesis: (2 + 1) = 3.
Then you must proceed to multiplication, which in this case is 7 x 3 = 21.
You may now proceed to the addition section of the problem: 5 + 21 = 26.
Option B: 26 is the correct answer.
