Judges Were Speechless As Ballerina Changes Her Performance Mid-Audition

When a young ballerina switched gears in the middle of her performance, the judges of “Britain’s Got Talent” were taken aback.

Before her audition, Hollie, 10, appeared to be a typical dancer. She was dressed in a pink and purple tutu with a charming scrunchie in her hair, and she laughed at the hosts’ jokes about her outfit.

They said, “Let me guess what you do. Would you like a little magic?” She replied with a laugh and a no. They joked again, “Juggling?”

The judges, on the other hand, were less enthralled. They spoke to her in soft tones, but they didn’t appear particularly enthusiastic about her performance, especially when the music began. Hollie’s first minute of performance was fairly uninteresting. She did some basic twirls and hops, but nothing spectacular.

She appeared to be an ordinary ten-year-old who had completed a few dance rehearsals. When she finished, it was evident that the judges were going to give her a pass.

Hollie, on the other hand, opened her mouth and began singing before the final chords! She sang “I Could Have Danced All Night” from the play “My Fair Lady” with a deep, almost opera-like voice. The audience gasped and roared, and the judges were completely taken aback. They were all taken aback by her.

The entire crowd rose to their feet to offer her a standing ovation after she finished her performance on a crystal-clear high note. The judges lavished great accolades as well. “It’s unbelievable how much talent you have,” Amanda Holden said, adding that the voice that came out of her little frame “stunned” her.

“In three series, we’ve seen a lot of kids on this show,” Piers Morgan observed. “I’ve never heard anyone sing quite like you.”

Hollie received praise from Simon Cowell as well. He stated that he had preconceived notions about her ability based on her song and clothing choices, but that he was astounded when she began to sing.

“I think you have a beautiful voice, Hollie,” he continued, as the audience erupted in applause. Hollie advanced to the next round, and the video of her audition went viral almost immediately. Her multi-faceted performance astounded the audience as much as it did the studio audience.

Hollie is still playing after ten years. The 20-year-old spoke with the “Lorraine” show about how she recently returned from a one-year cruise ship on which she played in the musical “Grease.” People still recognize her from her appearances on “Britain’s Got Talent,” she noted.
