Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher See No Point in Bathing Their Kids Unless They Look Dirty and It Actually Makes Sense

Do you apply soap all over your body or just the crucial parts when you shower? What about your children? Do they take a bath every day with soap? Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher’s family, on the other hand, take a different approach to bathing their children and themselves. They claim to only use soap when absolutely necessary, and many experts agree.

One of Hollywood’s most popular couples, Ashton and Mila, recently featured on Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert. The topic of bathing children came up on the show. This is when the couple acknowledged to not bathing their children very regularly. They further stated that they just soap up “the pits and tits, holes and soles” for themselves.

Kunis was not used to bathing on a regular basis as a child. They didn’t bathe every day since they didn’t have hot water, so they only bathed when it was absolutely essential. She has used this strategy on her children and has continued to do so throughout her adult life. She added that as newborns, she only cleaned her babies when they were visibly dirty, and she has continued to do so as they have grown bigger. Ashton completely endorses and supports this approach.

“Clean them if you detect dirt on them,” he advised. “There’s no point otherwise.”

After a workout, Kutcher claims he washes the critical portions of his body and rinses the salt off his face. Kunis has a twice-daily skincare routine for her face, although she only uses soap on the sensitive areas.

The internet, of course, had a field day with this one. That is, if you are firmly in the camp of “I shower/bathe with soap every day no matter what.” Here are a some of the memes that resulted from the couple’s open declaration:
