Michael Jackson’s Kids Paris And Prince Share Family Photos For His Birthday
The late Michael Jackson celebrates his birthday today. The “King of Pop,” a singer, songwriter, and dancer, would have turned 64 years old on August 29, 1958. The 15-time Grammy Award winner made history as one of the best-selling musicians of all time and is remembered as one of the 20th century’s most influential cultural influencers.
Michael has always been appreciated by his children, despite the fact that his life has not been without controversy. Two-thirds of his children, Paris Jackson, 24, and Prince Jackson, 25, revealed exclusive family images in honor of his birthday. Read more about the family and take a look at the pictures below.
In 1996, Michael and Lisa Marie Presley got divorced. In the same year, he wed Debbie Rowe, and in February of that same year, she gave birth to their first child, Michael Joseph, also known as “Prince.” With the assistance of numerous nannies and nurses, MJ raised Prince. Happy birthday to the best, my friend! I miss you more and more every day, but I also love you more and more. Thank you for everything,” he said in the Instagram caption for his picture.
Prior to their divorce in 1999, Rowe gave birth to Paris, his second kid, in 1998. The 24-year-old vocalist has carried on her father’s musical legacy. On her Instagram story, she posted a picture of them kissing when she was a young girl and added the hashtag “hbd” with a heart emoji.
Pictures of Prince with all of his siblings, including Michael’s youngest son Prince Michael II, were featured in the collection. In 2015, his younger brother changed his name to Bigi and has largely avoided the spotlight since then. In 2002, Michael famously draped a blanket over his head and suspended him over a balcony.
To carry on his father’s “Heal the World” endeavors, Prince established The Heal Los Angeles charity. In May 2021, Paris was chosen to represent the group as an ambassador. According to Celebrity Kind, they serve inner-city kids and the homeless through free lunch programs, toy drives, and other initiatives.
An image of the family with the late Carrie Fisher at Michael’s final Christmas in 2008 was included in the photo collection. After receiving several sleep aids from his doctor Conrad Murray, Michael passed away on July 25, 2009. A propofol overdose was the cause of the “Man in the Mirror” singer’s death, and Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in November 2011. After spending less than two years of a four-year sentence, he was freed in 2013.
