The Oscar winner discussed how she started educating her children about race at an early age in an interview with Red Table Talk.
She said to Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield Norris, “To say that I wished our skins matched… sometimes I do.
“Because it would make it simpler for individuals to approach us then. I feel the same way about it being my babies as a woman with brown skin does. Or a white woman having white children,” she added.
When Willow, Jada’s daughter, made a comment to their conversation.
“The mother-child dynamic is at play. There isn’t a shade. We are not required to apply any color.
Bullock retorted, “Perhaps that will go away one day. We might have access to new eyes in the future.
According to Daily Mail, the “Ocean’s 8” actress has already discussed racial persecution. Bullock revealed to Glamour Magazine in 2015 that she was constantly worried about the security of her children.
“You can see how far civil rights have progressed and where we are now. My son needs to be protected. I want people to evaluate my son for the man that he is.
We have reached a moment where, she continued, “If we don’t act, we will have undone what so many outstanding people have done.”
Louise and Laila are both African Americans by birth, and their famous mother adores them unconditionally.
The famous mother discussed her relationship with her two children in an interview with PEOPLE (the TV Show!).
I’m simply the mom, and that’s how it should be. When I’m not around, people miss me, and when I am, they find me bothersome. She spoke.
Bullock responded when reporter Sandra Vergara enquired as to whether her children find her attractive.
“Never at all. Not unless I bring something special home. I brought donuts home last night. I thought I was so cool at the time!
She added, “I love who they are. “I get to see who they are every day. I am one of the fortunate people who gets to spend a lot of time with my kids and watch them develop into the people they become. I am very pleased of who they are becoming as they grow up.
