Man Who Was Adopted At Birth Is Shocked To Discover His Co-Worker Is His Biological Father
Nathan Boos was aware of his adoption, but he was unaware that he was already friends with his father. A man who was adopted at birth is stunned to learn that his coworker is his biological father in this wonderfully poignant and bizarre story!
What do you think? We spend forty-plus hours a week with individuals at our professions, and they can feel like family at times, but Nathan’s coworker is more than that–they are related by blood.
“I always knew I was adopted growing up, but it never occurred to me that I would ever discover my biological parents,” Nathan explained. Nathan never bothered to inquire about his biological parents because his adoptive parents loved him so much. And because he never inquired, his parents never bothered to inform him who his biological parents were.
When Nathan’s mother came to see him one day, she noticed something remarkable.
A familiar name and profile emerged on Nathan’s friends list while he and his mother were on Facebook. Because they worked for the same trucking firm, she was surprised to see that Nathan was already friends with his biological father on Facebook. What are your chances?
When children are adopted, they typically move to a different town, state, or even halfway over the world to live with their adoptive family. Nathan, on the other hand, was not one of them. His biological mother chose his adoptive parents from the same city when he was lovingly placed for adoption. She has placed him with distant relatives but has kept Nathan’s biological father in the dark.
Nathan was not only friends with his father on Facebook, but he also discovered they had been pals for two years because they both worked for Rock Solid Transport in Chippewa Falls! Nathan contacted his biological father, Bob Degaro, after the shock had worn off. Nathan wasn’t the only one who was taken aback by the news. Bob was feeling it as well!
“It still comes as a surprise. On occasion, I am unsure of what to say or how to act. I mean, he’s my kid, but we didn’t grow up with a father-son relationship and instead met through a business relationship “Bob remarked.
Bob gave Nathan a true, caring, and honest answer when Nathan inquired why he put him up for adoption. Bob was having financial difficulties and desired for his child to have the finest of everything. Bob was also aware that he wasn’t a particularly good father, and he desired for his son to have someone to look up to.
What makes this extraordinary search for relatives even more incredible is how similar the two are. They not only enjoy driving trucks and work for the same company, but they also have similar demeanors.
They don’t take their family status for granted and spend as much time together as they can! The couple also expressed their desire to turn their friendship into a familial bond. God is really amazing. Our faith and life are written and perfected by Him. It gives me comfort to know that he blends our family’s narrative into the wonderful story that it is, and Nathan’s story is an incredible one of a loving adoptive family and loving biological parents who wanted the best for him.
