Jason Momoa Found New 10 Years Younger Love after His 5-Year Marriage to Lisa Bonet Ended

Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet, who have been married for five years and have been together for 16 years, have announced their separation. And, in an unforeseen turn of events, the actor has already found a replacement for Bonet.

Momoa and Bonet’s courtship was straight out of a novel, and Momoa referred to Bonet as his “dream woman” for the majority of their relationship. The amount of love the two had for each other astounded fans and celebrities alike.

Momoa’s announcement that they were parting up after over two decades together in a since-deleted joint statement on the actor’s Instagram page came as a shock to everyone. Their breakup, however, was not a hasty decision, and they would soon reveal their reasons.

Momoa and Bonet have been together since 2005, when they were introduced by mutual acquaintances at a jazz bar in Los Angeles. Inside, Momoa claims, fireworks went off as soon as he saw her. They became friends after sharing a dinner at Cafe 101.

The pair married in 2017 and have two children: Lola, a daughter, and Nakoa-Wolf, a son. Even if their relationship was the ideal of romanticism, it is now evident that nothing is as it seems, as the phrase goes.

While fans and celebrities marveled over how much the pair, who had been apart for 12 years, lavished over one other, it is now evident that their relationship had been in peril for years. And, as one insider told ET:

“Jason and Lisa had been having problems in their relationship for a long time.”

Trouble began to simmer in paradise years ago, but it reached a fever pitch while Momoa was gone filming “Aquaman 2.” His absence from home appears to have been the deciding factor.

Momoa’s career had not taken off when they met in 2005, but as the years passed, he began winning more notable jobs and, as a result, began working more.

And, as much as he wanted to keep working as much as he could, Bonet “had no interest in joining” Momoa wherever he went to work in Los Angeles since she was enjoying her life.

The pandemic also seems to have strained their marriage, apparently exacerbating their already strained relationship. People, as an insider would say:

“They’d grown apart, and the epidemic sealed the deal.”

Individual ambitions vary with time, and according to sources, the pair grew apart due to their divergent interests, and the two were looking to “explore other things.”

Because they were so different, the renowned couple’s relationship worked. “[Momoa] was always cool, calm, and subdued, and Lisa was always cool, calm, and subdued,” a source told Us Weekly.

“Because they desired to live separate lives, that energy began to produce tension. Jason yearned for more adventure and travel. Lisa would rather stay at home and read, compose poems, and cook.”

For the sake of their children, they will remain respectful of each other and preserve a mature and peaceful separation.

Momoa is said to have already found love following their split. Momoa was photographed with actress Kate Beckinsale at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in April, only months after shockingly announcing his breakup from the “High Fidelity” actress.

When the actor, dressed dapperly in a navy blue suit, put his coat across the sequin-gown-clad Beckinsale, they were at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.

According to reports, the actor from “The Sweet Girl” went up close to her and eventually rested his head on her face. He couldn’t take his gaze away from the model, leading to speculation that they were dating.

Momoa, on the other hand, denied having a romantic relationship with the English actress. The actor claimed he was merely acting chivalrously when he offered his coat after a simple talk about her homeland, England, where he had spent a lot of time filming “Aquaman.” He said to Extra:

“‘Are you dating?’ everyone asks. It was gallantry, no doubt. The woman was freezing. She is quite pleasant. I was being a gentleman and being extremely kind. I’m not going to give my coat to anyone now.”

While Momoa was being courteous to Beckinsale, other rumors started to circulate. According to multiple reports, the actor is reportedly dating actress Eiza González. “Jason and Eiza are dating. It’s really informal “Us Weekly quoted a source as saying:

“However, they’re having a good time and getting to know each other.”

Momoa confirmed their relationship when he attended the premiere of González’s film “Ambulance” in April, just a few months after denying reports about him and Beckinsale.

Momoa and González began as friends, but their relationship grew stronger over time, and they decided to take a gamble and see where it would lead.

González is said to like “[Momoa’s] attention and laid-back vibes,” while Momoa is claimed to care about the “Baby Driver” actress, much as he did after their divorce, according to sources. Despite the fact that they later acknowledged their relationship, a source told People:
