Shaq O’Neal Gifts Family Of 11 A Brand New Van And Truck In Incredible Show Of Generosity

Shaquille O’Neal has unquestionably been fortunate in his life. Aside from accumulating a wealth in the NBA, the basketball player has made sound business and investing selections.
He is still reaping the benefits of his efforts now.
Shaq, 49, is one of the wealthiest athletes in the world, and he not only lavishes on himself and his family, but he also makes it a point to give back. In fact, he is well-known for his generosity, and his good deeds have gone viral numerous times.

Shaq set a goal for himself to perform at least one good act every time he left the house, and it appears that he has been keeping to it.
Shaq’s most recent act of kindness included a Texas family of 11 known as “The Collins Kids” on Instagram.
On February 23, Karissa, the family’s matriarch, recounted how they came to be the beneficiaries of Shaq’s generosity in an Instagram post.
The sports celebrity paid the family a surprise visit last month and treated them to dinner at Babe’s Chicken.
Karissa, 36, commented on Instagram and Facebook, “It was so much pleasure to just hang out and eat supper with him.”
Shaq, on the other hand, didn’t want it to end with a simple meal. He brought the family to a Mercedes-Benz store the next day and bought them a brand new 15-passenger van!
“He had no idea we were outgrowing our 12 passenger vehicle, and the air conditioning wasn’t always functioning the best, so this is such an unbelievable blessing,” Karissa, who is expecting her second child, said. “They didn’t have any in stock, so we had to customize and order a van, which should arrive in July,” says the customer.
Mandrae Collins, a former Harlem Globetrotter, is Karissa’s husband and works as a manager at a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Fort Worth.
Shaq then took them to Rainforest Café for supper, where he paid for another table’s entire meal, despite the fact that they were missionaries from out of state.
After learning that their waitress’ car had broken down that day, the basketball legend lavished a $1,000 gratuity on the server.
Mandrae, 38, was the owner of a pickup that had been without air conditioning and heat for quite some time. Shaq was unaware of this, but when he saw the truck, he decided to drive the family to a Ford dealership and purchase a new truck for the father!
Shaq had non-material gifts for the family in addition to the extravagant dinners and toys.
“He also spent time encouraging us, loving on our kids, and speaking life into our family,” Karissa continued. “I have no idea what to say.”
When asked how she met Shaq, Karissa, the writer and proprietor of Rooted in Christ Boutique, told a Facebook user that she met him over Instagram.
Karissa told the story of how Shaq came to know them in a post on January 12th.
She stated, “He reached out to me on Instagram a few months ago and sent my kids a video expressing how much he loved seeing them and to name him Uncle Shaq.”
Shaq expressed an interest in paying them a visit, and Karissa consented.
“Of course, we’d love to meet him and spend some time with him. “I grew up watching him play baseball, and my kids adore him in all of his commercials and films,” she explained.
Shaq happened to be in town for Karissa’s birthday, so he stopped by to wish her a happy birthday. “It was weird,” she said of the once-in-a-lifetime encounter.
“He came in and loved on the kids, encouraged them, entertained them, took pictures with them, gave them gifts, encouraged us as parents, and just showed us so much love,” Karissa said.
Karissa mentioned that her two young children, Anthym and Anchor, are wary of strangers. They, on the other hand, flocked around Shaq and demanded that he hold them.
Shaq’s attempts to give back to the community are incredibly motivating, and we should all strive to follow him in our own small ways!
