8-Year-Old Prays From The Roof During Flood And His Miraculous Story Is Inspiring Thousands

Madden Sanders, 8, spent hours on a roof in Waverly, Tennessee, praying to God during catastrophic flooding. And hearing about his incredible story is quite inspirational!

Madden Sanders is a little boy of eight years old. And when floods hit Waverly, Tennessee, where he lives, he and his mother were separated, putting their lives in jeopardy.

He tells his experience while wearing sutures in each of his brows.

A Young Boy’s Amazing Flood Survival Story In Waverly, Madden stated that he informed his mother that the seas were approaching and that she asked him to go retrieve his belongings. The mother then tells that the home began to rise off its foundation and be swept away by the water.

Madden’s mother acted fast and acquired a floating toy for him to play with. The torrent swept them away, and Madden struck the house twice. Madden’s mother claims that was the last time she saw him, and all she heard was him yelling, “Mommy!”

Madden found and remained on top of a shed for four hours after the water in Waverly drove his mother a mile away.

“Please God, don’t let me die, I want to live,” Madden begged to God.

The Rescue Of A Young Boy Is A Strong Reminder

They finally discovered Madden after looking for him for four hours. His mother says, “I’m not sure what God has in store for my son, but I’m excited to find out. I’m sure He has huge plans for him.”

Madden’s incredible account of being rescued from the Waverly floods reminds us of how God realized that we, too, needed to be rescued. Jesus came down from Heaven in the midst of our sin to offer us His life on our behalf. All who embrace His gift of everlasting life and forgiveness will be saved. When we accept Jesus, we are reunited with our Father God, just as this kid was reunited with his mother.

“Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who sacrificed Himself for our sins to save us from this current wicked age, according to our God and Father’s desire. Amen.” Galatians 1:3-5 is a passage from the book of Galatians.
