Tina Turner Fought Life-threatening Illnesses For Years, Now She Wants A Life Out Of The Spotlight

Tina Turner is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with a career spanning five decades. Her parents split when she was a child, leaving her and her sister with their grandma. Tina moved in with her mother when she was 19, and it was then that her skill was acknowledged.

Tina first gained notoriety when she began performing with her then-husband, Ike Turner, before embarking on a solo career.

For many years, her energizing stage presence and strong vocals maintained her at the top. Tina’s songs “Private Dancer,” “What’s Love Got To Do,” “Proud Mary,” and others are still enormous hits and a part of the lives of many generations.

She stopped singing a few years ago and struggled with health issues from 2013 to 2018.

She is, however, in good spirits today and grateful to be alive.

Tina suffered a stroke and struggled to use her right hand thereafter. She also lost her capacity to talk for a brief time, but she recovered her strength. She was diagnosed with intestinal cancer, followed by renal failure, just when she believed she was getting well.

Many people were unaware of the super-troubles star’s until she revealed them in her book Tina Turner: My Love Story, which was published two years ago.

“I started thinking about death.” I could accept it if my kidneys failed and it was time for me to die. It was all OK. When it’s time to do something, it’s actually time to do it. “I wasn’t afraid of dying, but I was worried about how I would die,” she wrote.

She had a kidney transplant after a successful procedure in which a portion of her intestines was removed. Erwin Bach, her husband, was her donor.

Turner remarked, “I know that my medical experience is far from done.” “But I’m still here — we’re still here, closer than we ever anticipated,” she continued. Looking back, I can see why my karma was the way it was. From a negative situation, something good emerged.

Pain gave way to joy. And I’ve never been happier as I am right now.”

Her followers wished her well and wanted to know how she was doing now that she had conquered so many health concerns, so she sent them a video in which she remarked, “Yes, I did it, I look wonderful.” I’m in good spirits. I’ve battled some extremely serious illnesses and am now on the mend, so it’s like getting a second shot at life.”

The singer opened up about her past in the recent feature-length documentary “Tina,” saying she suffers from PTSD as a result of the violence she received from her former husband Ike Turner. She also stated that she want to leave the spotlight for the third and last chapter of her life.

Tina has our best wishes for the future, and we hope she doesn’t have any additional health problems.
