Boyfriend Cheats On & Breaks Up With Girlfriend After She Saves His Life By Donating Kidney

When people enter a relationship, they usually hope that it will work out and that they will be together for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately, this isn’t always the case, and many couples end up breaking up after a certain amount of time. Some people may feel as if they’ve lost a piece of themselves as a result of the breakup. That was not the case, however, for one 30-year-old lady.

Colleen Le is a TikTok user who became famous in the summers of 2020 and 2021 after telling the narrative of one of her prior romances. She stated that the relationship lasted approximately seven months, but that it did not last. There had been some bumps in the road, and her boyfriend had some major medical concerns that necessitated a kidney transplant.

Le offered to give one of her kidneys to her then-partner because she genuinely cared about him and was willing to go to any length to help him. They went forward with the life-saving operation after discovering they were a match.

Fortunately, everything went well in the medical department, but the couple’s relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend did not.

Le’s boyfriend turned out to be unfaithful to her. Le forgave him, wanting to give him another chance. Unfortunately, the bad news kept coming, and she was dumped just a few months later. Le can now look back on her life and be proud of the decisions she took, even if they didn’t always turn out as she had hoped.

Le talks about a previous relationship that went wrong in her now-viral TikTok from August 2020. “You think you can harm my feelings?” she wrote in the video’s text overlay. I donated a kidney to my lover at the time, and seven months later, I was cheated on.” Le went into greater detail regarding the matter in a June 2021 TikTok.

Le’s then-boyfriend was diagnosed with severe renal illness and required dialysis, according to 7 News. His kidney functioned at a rate of less than 5%. When Le learned that they were a good match, she offered to give one of her kidneys and had surgery. Their relationship, however, took a turn for the worse a few months later.

According to 7 News, Le’s then-boyfriend admitted to cheating on her while she was studying for exams. Le was dumped over the phone three months later. “He blocked me on every social media platform and didn’t return my calls or texts for months,” she explained.

Many people flocked to Le’s TikTok comments section to express their support for her and her previous mistakes. “I wonder whether he appreciates the seriousness of donating a kidney,” one reader said. You literally put your life on the line for someone else. “You have a lovely soul.” “You are such a lovely and brave woman willing to donate like that,” another person said. You deserved to be treated better. Please accept my apologies for what occurred to you.”

Fortunately, Le is now in a wonderful relationship and can look back on the situation with a positive attitude. “I’ll be forever grateful that, despite the circumstances, I was able to give someone a second chance at life, and it’s enjoyable to joke about it today,” she said.
