‘Charlie’s Angels’ Drew Barrymore & Cameron Diaz Celebrated For Aging Naturally After Posting Photograph With No Filters

It’s hard to realize that “Charlie’s Angels” was published more than two decades ago. Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz, who co-starred with Lucy Liu in the film as two of the three famous characters, are still close friends to this day — so close that they consider themselves best friends.

The two actors, who were in their twenties when “Charlie’s Angels” was filmed, are now in their forties and have accomplished a lot in their careers. Since then, Barrymore has starred in a number of other successful films, including “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” and the Netflix series “Santa Clarita Diet.” She has also received numerous honors and is well-known for her work as a director and producer in addition to being an actress. Barrymore presently presents “The Drew Barrymore Show,” a syndicated chat show.

Diaz has also had a successful acting career, having appeared in films such as “The Box,” “Bad Teacher,” and the “Shrek” franchise. Diaz, like Barrymore, has garnered numerous awards for her work as an actor. She has, however, taken a step back in the acting world and is now concentrating on other endeavors.

Barrymore, 46, shared an unfiltered snapshot of herself and Diaz, 49, on Instagram in September 2021, demonstrating how gracefully the two ladies are aging — and how they are doing so naturally. People have praised the photograph, praising the women’s natural approach to aging and praising how beautiful they are on the inside and out.

For decades, Barrymore and Diaz have been renowned, and for many of those years, they have maintained a lovely friendship. They starred as Angels alongside each other in the 2000 film “Charlie’s Angels,” which also featured Liu as an Angel. It was the first picture in the “Charlie’s Angels” film series, which was based on the television series of the same name and starred Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Jacyln Smith, with Cheryl Ladd and Shelley Hack subsequently entering the series as Fawcett and Jackson’s replacements.

The film was a box office success, and it helped propel the three performers and their careers forward. However, being in the spotlight has a cost, as people frequently comment on celebrities’ appearances, particularly as they grow older. While many celebrities have been known to undergo plastic surgery or other cosmetic procedures to aid in the aging process, Barrymore and Diaz have been praised for looking to age naturally.

Barrymore shared an amazingly stunning and raw snapshot of herself and Diaz on Instagram on September 15, 2021.

“Bestie hour with my bestie poo poo!!” said Barrymore in the caption. Another snapshot of the two in their classic Angel posture was posted on the Instagram page of “The Drew Barrymore Show.”

Diaz is 49 years old, while Barrymore is 46 years old. Many people commented positively on the Instagram snap, praising the women for their natural attractiveness, particularly how “gracefully” the companions had aged, according to Yahoo.

“It’s very refreshing to see two ladies being so honest,” one user said. Ladies, you are stunning!” “I adore that you both are so natural with no botox and filters!!!” said another. “Natural aging is incredible.” “I love this, beauty sans filters and enhancers,” a third individual said. More of this is what social media requires.”

Despite the fact that many people praised the two women for their acceptance of the aging process, Yahoo revealed that Diaz’s beauty has not always been fully natural. She had expressed sorrow for dabbling with Botox in the past, but she is now opting for a more natural look in the future.

Diaz told Entertainment Tonight in 2014:

“I’ve tried (Botox) previously, and it seemed like a small smidgeon of something. It altered my appearance in such a strange way that I said to myself, “No, I don’t want to (be) like (that).” I’d rather have my face age than have a face that isn’t mine at all.”

Diaz has reportedly stopped working since then, according to Yahoo. Similarly, Barrymore has accepted her own beauty and is taking a more natural approach to aging. Barrymore told Glamour UK that establishing her cosmetics company Flower Beauty taught her how to cover up flaws and fears with makeup rather of undergoing a cosmetic operation.

According to Barrymore:

“I abide by the rule of not tinkering with my face or pursuing false beauty.” Every year of my life makes me feel more human and vulnerable, but I also learn to appreciate each year more and more.
