A Mother Gives Birth to Her 16th Baby and All Her Children Have Names Starting with the Letter “C”

A mother of 15 has given birth to her 16th child, all of whom have names that begin with the letter “C.”
Patty Hernandez, 39, of Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, has named her newborn Clayton, carrying on a long family tradition.

In honor of their 38-year-old father, Carlo, she named all of her children with the same first letter.

The mother of 15 never expected to have such a large family, but she doesn’t use contraception and claims she enjoys being pregnant after carrying a kid for a decade.

Carlos Jr, 13, Christopher, 12, Carla, 10, Caitlyn, 10, Cristian, 9, Celeste, 8, Cristina, 7, Calvin, 6, Catherine, 6, Carol, 5, Caleb, 4, Caroline, 4, Camilla, 3, Charlie, 1, and Crystal, four months.

Patty, who has her own cleaning business, considers her large family a “gift” from God.

“God has given us with all these kids,” she said. “I know some people don’t agree, and there are terrible comments online, but it’s a huge blessing for us.”

Carlos was by his wife’s side on May 5 when Clayton was born, weighing 3.6 kg.

Patty gave birth at 40 weeks pregnant, which was her longest pregnancy.

When Patty was taken to the hospital for labor, she stated most of the staff recognized her.

Patty and her husband presently spend roughly US$13 million every two weeks on their children’s meals, although she emphasizes that they do not get government assistance.

The couple is able to pay their bills thanks to their cleaning service, and they are hoping that their eldest son Carlos Jr., 13, would soon be able to assist at the family business.
