Children Who Have Strong Relationships With Their Grandparents Are Happier
Your beloved grandparents are a very important part of your family and your love is unconditional and eternal. You remember the times when you listened to your grandparents tell you goodnight stories, and the gentle kisses and hugs still warm your heart. The love between grandparents and grandchildren is special and there is no doubt that they are those who spoil your little child. Their gentle hands take care of child when he or she is ill and the love of a grandparent for your child is unconditional.
The relationship between a child and his or her grandparents is the most important factor for the long-term health of the child.
Researchers examined data from more than 1,500 children and the statistics presented to them showed that children who live with or are close to their grandparents are happier and have no emotional problems, while children who either do not live with or visit their grandfathers are often no happier, even if they visit them frequently. Moreover, the Oxford study shows that children who have a strong relationship and are close to their grandparents are ultimately less likely to suffer from depression in the future. The study also showed that children who grow up with their grandchildren perform better at school, are generally more generous, loving and kind, and that their mental health problems are unproblematic.
Grandparents also help them to stay young, happy and active, and thus to live longer with their grandparents. Dear parents, let your children spend as much time as possible with your grandparents and let them give love and happiness to each other.
