Too Much Love Never Spoils Children
Children need all the love in the world, but there’s no such thing as too much love, according to a new study from the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health.
Shockingly, parents accept that they can supplant their loved ones with gifts, but children don’t need gifts, they need love. It’s okay to buy toys and go on outings; it’s never a good idea to replace love with an expensive teddy bear or an original dress.
“Love does not spoil children”, says Dr. Anthony P. Witham, adding that children are spoiled when the presence of love is replaced by gifts. It is therefore imperative that we teach our children all about love, kindness and respect. Stop buying toys, spend more time with your children and they will become adults who care about family.
Tell your children that you love them and they will appreciate your advice and love for them as much as you do.
We keep hearing about it and it makes us feel like we love it, but we don’t, even though we feel this love, even though we know it.
There is nothing wrong with letting your own children into the house, but only in this way can you show them that you are always there for them. Your children will remember you for every single word you say, no matter how small or large, even if they are only a few months old.
